Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and design scalable, maintainable technical solutions on AWS.
- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications, microservices, and micro-frontends across AWS environments.
- Design systems for large-scale data ingestion, data pipelines, databases, messaging, object storage, and data workflows.
- Provide architectural guidance and implementation oversight to engineering teams.
- Maintain cloud-native products and machine learning components through their software lifecycle.
- Produce solution designs, technical documentation, diagrams, standards, and non-functional requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to management and teams across the organization.
- Support product and security documentation and apply test-driven development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of overall software development experience.
- At least 3 years of cloud development experience focused on designing and implementing AWS solutions.
- Strong foundation in computer science, object-oriented design, algorithms, and data structures.
- Hands-on experience building microservices, cloud-native and serverless applications, API-first systems, and data workflows.
- Extensive experience with containers, Kubernetes, service mesh, horizontal scaling, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Python and Spring Boot.
- Experience with AWS services including S3, Fargate, Lambda, ECS, EKS, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, IAM, Cognito, API Gateway, Step Functions, Redshift, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, Aurora, DynamoDB, RDS, EC2, and SageMaker.
- Demonstrated ability to design and build data pipelines on GCP.
- Experience in DevOps-focused environments, test-driven development, and Agile software development methodologies.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification or another relevant certification is preferred.
- Experience with GCP, Azure, IBM, or other cloud platforms and MLOps is preferred.
