Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services.
- Build and optimize microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and CQRS-based solutions.
- Develop Big Data and stream-processing solutions and integrate message brokers such as Kafka.
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs with OAuth2 authentication and authorization using Keycloak.
- Develop and optimize relational and NoSQL data storage solutions, including BigQuery.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform using GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and BigQuery.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams using Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira, Docker, and Kubernetes to support CI/CD practices.
- Lead technical discussions, mentor junior developers, contribute to architecture decisions, and ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software development experience and at least 2 years of hands-on Java development experience.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Strong experience with microservices, distributed systems, event-sourced systems, and CQRS architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Java 21 and Python.
- Experience with Big Data architectures, stream-processing systems, and Kafka.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, programming methodologies, and algorithms.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, including GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
- Knowledge of OAuth2 authentication and authorization frameworks, preferably Keycloak.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira, and modern DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with functional programming concepts and strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
