Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain EDI and EDIFACT transactions from specification through production installation.
- Map and configure ANSI X.12 EDI, EDIFACT, XML, CBXML, and iDoc formats.
- Develop and maintain transaction sets including 810, 846, 850, 855, 856, 860, 865, 867, 870, and 997.
- Analyze data-element mapping and compliant versus noncompliant transaction data.
- Create specifications, flow charts, pseudo-code, and data-flow diagrams for application changes and new designs.
- Suggest changes and improvements to support growth and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Understanding of business concepts, business rules, data flows, and database structures of supported systems.
- Understanding of the end-to-end EDI lifecycle and EDI transaction development.
- Strong understanding of data-element mapping and compliance requirements for transaction sets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
