Base Salary
$156k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Respond rapidly to customer-critical incidents across multiple Agent Platform services by diagnosing, triaging, and resolving complex production issues.
- Lead root-cause analysis and implement durable reliability, scalability, observability, and operability improvements.
- Design, develop, test, document, deploy, and operate high-volume, low-latency distributed systems processing millions of events per second.
- Maintain and improve existing services through refactoring, feature development, monitoring, and architectural enhancements.
- Build services for policy, configuration, and command distribution to millions of agents across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to resolve cross-service issues, influence technical direction, and deliver scalable solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in at least one of Go or Python.
- Proven ability to resolve complex production incidents, perform systematic root-cause analysis, and prevent recurrence through durable engineering solutions.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems, including failure modes, performance trade-offs, resilience, and operational excellence.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, messaging systems, and data platforms such as Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, Cassandra, or ClickHouse.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, autonomy, and mentoring abilities, including working across engineering, Product, Technical Account Managers, and other stakeholders.
- Experience in an enterprise SaaS or cybersecurity software company is highly desirable.
