Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver new and improved experiences for Fidelity’s equity compensation recordkeeping platform.
- Build high-performance, high-quality applications and Java middle-tier REST services for high-volume enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with teammates, technical and business experts, quality engineering, support teams, and operations.
- Contribute to real-time recordkeeping features on a modernized, cloud-ready stack.
- Prioritize solution quality, application stability, continuous improvement, and customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology-related field such as Computer Science or Engineering.
- At least 3 years of Java EE development experience on high-volume enterprise systems.
- Proven experience developing Java middle-tier REST services.
- Understanding of relational databases, cloud computing, and DevOps concepts in an Azure AKS environment.
- Ability to complete complex work, collaborate across technical and business teams, and learn new technologies and patterns.
- Commitment to modern test-driven and automation-driven software development methodologies.
