Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and evolve backend services supporting CI infrastructure.
- Improve local development and testing loops to reduce full deployment needs.
- Drive service migrations from Python to Java and assist in refactoring.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting practices for visibility.
- Contribute to documentation around service setup, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance developer experience.
- Help shape the technical roadmap for infrastructure evolution.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience with Java and Python.
- Familiarity with microservice architecture, Kubernetes, and caching strategies.
- Experience in designing maintainable, testable, and observable systems.
- Skilled at writing clear documentation for services and processes.
- Comfortable working on CI/CD infrastructure, including tools like gRPC/Protobuf, Bazel, and Git.
- Strong understanding of service migrations from design to execution.
- Collaborative and proactive, able to work autonomously.
