Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain website features, components, and pages in the Next.js codebase.
  • Develop Contentful content models and corresponding frontend components.
  • Implement responsive, accessible, performant interfaces from design specifications.
  • Support bilingual English/French site infrastructure and translation workflows.
  • Improve content authoring experiences and maintain tooling for content creation and publishing.
  • Implement Schema.org structured data, metadata, technical SEO, analytics, UTM tracking, and event tracking.
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals and page performance.
  • Manage deployments and environments using Azure and Azure Front Door.
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, design, analytics, and leadership partners on platform decisions, integrations, documentation, and standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, onboarding, and engineering documentation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional full-stack web development experience.
  • Strong production experience with React and Next.js.
  • Expert-level HTML and CSS skills.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 AA.
  • Hands-on headless CMS experience; Contentful is strongly preferred, with Sanity, Strapi, or similar accepted.
  • Fluency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
  • Solid Node.js experience and familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with Git-based workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD.
  • Cloud platform experience, preferably Azure; AWS or GCP experience is transferable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Financial services, asset management, or other compliance-sensitive industry experience is a bonus.
  • Bilingual or bilingual-content experience is a bonus.
  • GA4, Google Tag Manager, analytics implementation, and technical SEO knowledge are bonuses.

Benefits

  • Expected annual base salary is 100,000-130,000, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus program.
