Base Salary
$86k - $127k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based enterprise applications and microservices.
- Build REST APIs using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.
- Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Participate in Agile development, code reviews, and release activities.
- Implement automated testing with JUnit, Cucumber/Karate, TDD, and BDD.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Data JPA, and microservices.
- Experience with REST APIs, OAuth2, cloud-native application development, API architecture, and development.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, S3, and Spark.
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Docker, SQL optimization, and relational and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency with GitHub and source control systems.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, and Kubernetes; OCP experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Drools Rule Engine, TDD, JUnit, BDD, Cucumber, unit tests, and service-level tests.
- Experience designing for high availability and scalability and working with messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Eight to 12+ years of Java development experience.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS Architect Certification, performance tuning and monitoring experience, and front-end experience with React or Angular.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, multitasking, and adaptability skills.
