Responsibilities

  • Assist with designing and deploying multi-cloud lab environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development with GitHub Actions to provision, configure, and tear down lab environments.
  • Write, test, and maintain reusable infrastructure-as-code modules in a version-controlled environment.
  • Support security-tool proof-of-concept and proof-of-value engagements from requirements through teardown.
  • Maintain version-controlled technical documentation and runbooks for repeatable lab operations.
  • Support security-tool evaluations involving vulnerability management, CNAPP, EDR, application security, and AI security products.
  • Assist with agentic harnesses that exercise vendor products against client-defined test cases and integrate with AI and LLM APIs.
  • Document test cases, contribute to findings reports, and participate in client walkthroughs under mentorship.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with at least one IaC tool, such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or an equivalent tool.
  • Current enrollment or recent graduation with a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Exposure to Python, Bash, or similar scripting or programming languages, with interest in automation and infrastructure.
  • Interest in cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and security-tool evaluation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and client-facing materials.
  • Technical aptitude and comfort building real infrastructure in a fast-paced, practitioner-led environment.
  • Eastern or Central time-zone location is preferred.
  • Applicants must be physically located in the United States throughout the internship and have a personal computing device and high-speed internet access.
  • The role is unavailable to candidates living in Alaska, California, Hawaii, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Washington, or Wyoming.

  • Work 25–29 hours per week, Monday through Friday, supporting the Eastern Time Zone.
