Content Understanding LLM Algorithm Engineer Graduate (Global E-Commerce) - 2027 Start (PhD)

- Build domain-specific LLM and MLLM systems for e-commerce applications.
- Optimize algorithms for merchant, product, video, livestream, and intellectual-property governance.
- Construct data and enhance foundational models through instruction fine-tuning, chain-of-thought methods, and parameter-efficient fine-tuning.
- Develop solutions for long-sequence modeling, few-shot learning, content moderation, violation detection, and policy recommendation.
- Research and optimize multilingual, multi-task, and multimodal NLP models for e-commerce scenarios.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to improve governance effectiveness, operational efficiency, and technical innovation.
Requirements
- Be completing or have recently completed a PhD in software development, computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Have strong programming, data structures, and algorithms skills and proficiency with algorithmic and engineering frameworks.
- Have a strong machine learning foundation with in-depth understanding and research experience in deep learning, reinforcement learning, NLP, or multimodal learning.
- Demonstrate communication and collaboration skills.
- State availability and graduation date clearly and commit to an onboarding date by the end of the year.
- International conference or journal publications, including ACL, EMNLP, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, or CVPR, are preferred.
- Practical achievements in Kaggle, GLUE, SuperGLUE, CLUE, or similar competitions are preferred.
