Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain components and enterprise solutions based on Oracle databases.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and database scripts.
- Manage and administer database objects across Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
- Implement, monitor, and support batch processes and scheduled execution flows.
- Develop Shell Script or Bash automation scripts for Linux/Unix environments.
- Participate in application development and integration using Java 8 or higher.
- Execute unit and integration testing to ensure solution quality.
- Analyze and resolve production incidents involving data processes and applications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using agile Scrum practices.
- Participate in code reviews and apply software development and quality best practices.
Requirements
- More than five years of relevant Oracle development experience.
- Advanced SQL proficiency and experience developing with Oracle Database.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and MySQL.
- Experience with Linux/Unix scripting using Shell Script or Bash.
- Experience developing with Java 8 or higher.
- Experience executing unit and integration tests.
- Experience working with agile methodologies, primarily Scrum.
- A degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include PostgreSQL, Git and version-control experience, financial or high-transaction environments, monitoring and troubleshooting tools, DevOps practices, deployment automation, and Oracle, Java, or agile-methodology certifications.
