Base Salary

$226k - $283k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical direction and architecture for complex systems.
  • Design and implement embedded software running on the vehicle.
  • Characterize, integrate, and validate key subsystems such as next-generation cameras and radios.
  • Bring up and debug new hardware.
  • Write interfaces and drivers for sensors and other devices.
  • Architect, build, and lead development of current and future products.

Requirements

  • Ability to write modern C++ in a real-time embedded environment.
  • Python development experience.
  • Ability to write clean code with appropriate abstraction boundaries.
  • Experience with SoC development, embedded microcontrollers, and camera drivers; Qualcomm experience is a plus.
  • Practical experience writing firmware or embedded code for a physical device.
  • Experience with embedded Linux userspace and kernel development.
  • Fundamental knowledge of low-level firmware.
  • Hands-on hardware bring-up, system debugging, and code optimization experience.
  • Knowledge of debugging systems at the ARM assembly code level.
  • Experience or knowledge in embedded security and cryptographic firmware development.
