Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, reliable, and manageable enterprise architecture solutions for new deals and major change requests.
- Provide solutioning for client RFPs and ensure design assurance, architecture conformance, and quality of technical decisions.
- Define current- and target-state architectures, integration approaches, reusable patterns, investment roadmaps, and implementation risk mitigations.
- Lead technical design, development, implementation, validation, documentation, and transition activities for custom solutions.
- Collaborate with clients, sales, consulting, project, delivery, and IT teams to reconcile requirements and ensure successful solution delivery.
- Present solution designs, recommendations, prototypes, and architectural principles to clients during pre-sales and delivery engagements.
- Develop proof of concepts, case studies, demos, white papers, blogs, and points of view to support growth and thought leadership.
- Mentor developers, designers, and junior architects and contribute to architecture practice activities such as selection interviews.
- Manage team resourcing, onboarding, training, performance reviews, engagement initiatives, talent development, and attrition.
Requirements
- Technical leadership experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, and custom technology implementations is required by the responsibilities of the role.
- Ability to analyze client requirements, technology environments, enterprise specifics, business outcomes, and integration needs to define solution architectures.
- Ability to document architectural designs and artifacts, evaluate tradeoffs and costs, identify root causes, and develop mitigation plans.
- Ability to collaborate with executives, technical leaders, product owners, peer architects, clients, sales, consulting, and delivery teams.
- Ability to present and explain solution designs, demonstrate thought leadership, and act as a trusted technical advisor to clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, report assignment status, and apply project management, quality, risk, KPI, and SLA standards.
- Ability to mentor technical staff and manage team hiring, onboarding, performance, engagement, and career progression.
- Relevant training and certifications, proof-of-concept development, market research, technical writing, and industry recognition are valued.
