Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
- Review code from other developers and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product or program changes and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing effects on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- At least 2 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or working with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- At least 2 years of software development experience with Java or C++.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with data structures and algorithms, accessible technologies, legacy-system refactoring, large distributed infrastructure, and working across multiple systems.
