Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain next-generation personal connectivity solutions across Apple’s product ecosystem.
- Architect and scale core wireless protocols across the Bluetooth stack, including HCI, L2CAP, and OS-level frameworks.
- Optimize high-fidelity audio pipelines for AirPods, Beats, and hearing devices using LE Audio, A2DP, and HFP.
- Build robust automotive connectivity with OEM partners.
- Engineer ultra-low-latency wireless links for Apple Pencil and unannounced hardware.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and quality teams to improve power efficiency, link reliability, and Wi-Fi coexistence.
- Drive multiple technical projects across teams and contribute to design, development, and debugging workflows using AI coding agents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong software development skills in C++, C, or Objective-C.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI coding agents into daily engineering workflows across design, development, and debugging.
- Experience with wireless communication systems, especially Bluetooth, is highly desirable.
- Experience building user-level applications, audio, or AR/VR solutions is preferred.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code in an OS or RTOS environment.
- Ability to collaborate clearly and drive multiple projects across teams.
