Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test new backend features.
- Maintain and improve infrastructure for a cloud-based Kubernetes application.
- Enhance and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Support integration of scientific software and algorithms into production systems.
- Independently identify, design, and implement solutions for undefined or evolving requirements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend software development experience.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes deployment and administration.
- Linux systems administration experience.
- Experience working with Docker containers.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field.
- Must be located within the DMV area: Washington, DC, Maryland, or Virginia.
- Must be able to obtain a US government clearance.
- Must be available for periodic in-person meetings at the Washington, DC office.
- Preferred experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, PostGIS, Golang, and Python.
