Responsibilities
- Participate in functional, integration, system, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts and maintain test automation frameworks and assets.
- Validate cloud-native applications, microservices, APIs, and data workflows.
- Investigate test failures, identify quality risks, and support root cause analysis.
- Document, track, and verify software defects.
- Support CI/CD processes and automated test integration.
- Collaborate with developers, test engineers, product teams, and Agile teams on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and ongoing learning activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Recent graduate or up to one year of experience.
- Understanding of software development life cycle, software testing fundamentals, and quality assurance principles.
- Familiarity with at least one of Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Understanding of APIs, REST services, and basic SQL or NoSQL database concepts.
- Exposure to software development, testing, or automation through academic projects, internships, training programs, or personal projects.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control tools is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
