Responsibilities
- Build agents, tools, skills, prompts, planners, memory systems, and evaluation loops using clean, testable code.
- Develop RAG services covering ingestion, chunking, embeddings, indexing, vector databases, observability, and guardrails.
- Integrate enterprise APIs, event streams, and data sources with robust error handling, retries, and fallbacks.
- Write unit and integration tests, offline and online evaluations, red-team scenarios, and content/action safety boundaries.
- Prototype rapidly, demonstrate progress, communicate trade-offs and results, and deliver production-ready AI applications.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in Java full-stack development.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong computer science and software engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and AI APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to build end-to-end applications and integrate AI into software systems.
- A visible portfolio of AI projects showing experimentation and rapid learning.
- Ability to translate business problems into practical AI solutions and communicate clearly.
- Proficiency in at least two of Python, TypeScript/Node.js, and Java.
- Knowledge of relevant AI frameworks, vector databases, testing frameworks, containers, serverless technologies, and cloud SDKs is expected or beneficial.
- C#/.NET, Go, Rust, SQL, PostgreSQL/pgvector, and Bash are listed as additional or nice-to-have technologies.
