Senior Software Engineer (Go, Java) - 3rd Party Integrations
SentinelOneResponsibilities
- Design, build, test, document, deploy, and operate large-scale applications primarily in Go and partially in Java.
- Architect high-volume, low-latency services capable of processing millions of events per second.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, operable solutions within the broader data architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Improve reliability and data integrity through observability, performance analysis, capacity planning, and operational excellence.
- Maintain and improve the existing codebase through refactoring, fixes, and new features.
- Evaluate and adopt technologies for scale, reliability, and large-volume data processing.
- Use AI-assisted engineering workflows while maintaining code quality and security.
- Lead technical discussions and design reviews, conduct code reviews, and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in at least one high-level programming language, preferably Go and/or Java, with interest in working across both.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, microservices, concurrency, and data processing.
- Comfort with AI-native development practices and AI tools that improve code quality, security, and development velocity.
- Collaborative approach to design discussions, code reviews, and cross-functional partnerships.
- Familiarity with AWS and/or GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka is a strong advantage.
- Ability to learn new products quickly and understand their internal workings.
- Proven ability to collaborate with local and remote teams across time zones.
- Excellent communication skills for working with product and engineering teams.
- Previous experience developing security-related products is a strong plus.
