Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end Edge AI and Computer Vision solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate NVIDIA Jetson, industrial PCs, GPUs, NPUs, cameras, sensors, actuators, and PLCs.
- Develop applications for object detection, classification, segmentation, tracking, OCR, pose estimation, and anomaly detection.
- Optimize computer-vision models for latency, FPS, memory, power, and compute constraints using quantization, pruning, FP16/INT8 inference, and hardware acceleration.
- Develop video and inference pipelines using OpenCV, GStreamer, NVIDIA TensorRT, NVIDIA DeepStream, Intel OpenVINO, and ONNX Runtime.
- Integrate camera interfaces and protocols including USB, MIPI-CSI, GigE Vision, RTSP, and ONVIF.
- Implement camera calibration, multi-camera synchronization, image preprocessing, sensor fusion, device monitoring, logging, OTA updates, and remote troubleshooting.
- Develop edge applications with Python, C/C++, Linux, and Docker and support MQTT, REST API, and IoT-based edge-to-cloud integration.
- Take solutions through PoC, pilot, and production deployments at customer locations.
- Troubleshoot cameras, edge hardware, operating systems, networks, AI models, and applications, while guiding junior engineers and contributing to technical reviews.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is stated, with the additional information specifying a minimum of 8 years of overall software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Edge Computing, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning.
- Strong knowledge of NVIDIA Jetson, industrial edge PCs, AI accelerator hardware, camera technologies, image/video processing, camera integration, computer-vision algorithms, and model architectures.
- Experience with YOLO, SSD, Faster R-CNN, Mask R-CNN, DETR, U-Net, Vision Transformers, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and ONNX.
- Strong Python programming experience; C/C++ experience is preferred.
- Experience with Linux, Docker, embedded/edge software environments, networking, IoT protocols, MLOps, model versioning, and deployment lifecycles.
- Experience handling low light, glare, occlusion, motion blur, vibration, and changing environmental conditions in real-world Computer Vision systems.
- Experience taking at least one Computer Vision solution from PoC through pilot or production deployment.
- Experience with distributed deployments involving multiple cameras and edge devices is preferred.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, transportation, automotive, retail, robotics, or smart-infrastructure domains is advantageous.
- Completion of 15 years of full-time education is required.
