Base Salary

$81k - $110k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with software developers and cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Participate in analysis, design, implementation, and testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Review system specifications and documentation for testability and alignment with business requirements.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, and perform regression testing.
  • Identify, record, and track software bugs and defects.
  • Create test documentation and reports and develop testing processes for new and existing products.
  • Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements and coordinate with geographically distributed teams.
  • Stay current with testing tools and best practices and support other assigned projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three or more years of experience and proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or in a similar role.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Appium, JUnit, Cucumber, and BDD.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, processes, and software development and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or TypeScript.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment processes and understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with agile frameworks and regression testing.
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with mobile, API, and database testing is a plus.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
