Base Salary
$182k - $259k/yr
Responsibilities
- Interface with engineers, executives, and business stakeholders to provide technical context, direction, and guidance.
- Author or contribute to high-level designs and translate them into low-level designs for major initiatives.
- Lead the development and implementation of scalable AI product solutions across teams.
- Deliver rapid solutions for urgent business needs while balancing speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to shape AI strategy and evaluate technology options.
- Build secure, cost-effective, and performant systems for very large-scale use.
- Design and implement RAG pipelines, MCP integrations, AI agents, multimodal LLM solutions, prompt orchestration, and LLM telemetry and inspection capabilities.
- Evangelize AI technologies and identify opportunities for organizational experimentation, education, and upskilling.
Requirements
- Significant experience architecting and shipping agentic AI systems in production rather than only prototypes or proofs of concept.
- Strong server-side engineering experience in Python, Go, Java, or a similar language, including experience maintaining production systems.
- Experience building product solutions with LLMs and GenAI technologies.
- Experience with product data pipelines and preferably e-commerce taxonomies and schemas.
- Familiarity with vector databases, model orchestration tools, inference frameworks, and cloud-native ML workflows is preferred.
- Demonstrated technical leadership across engineering, product, and other cross-functional teams without relying on formal authority.
- Expertise with AWS, GCP, or Azure, API architecture, and modern MLOps practices.
- Solid experience with SQL, in-memory storage, and similar data storage solutions.
- Familiarity with Angular, React, and similar frontend frameworks.
- Preferred minimum bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering, computer engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience.

- National base salary range of $182,000.00–$259,000.00, with potential eligibility for variable compensation, equity, and benefits according to local policies.
