Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and operate authentication and session-management services.
- Develop scalable, reliable, low-latency distributed backend services and APIs.
- Apply secure-by-design practices while implementing features from design through production.
- Participate in design reviews and code reviews and take ownership of issues through resolution.
- Support services operationally and improve production readiness through monitoring and problem-solving.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
