Base Salary
$170k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Evaluate SoC vendor development kits.
- Develop update mechanisms for the Android operating system and applications.
- Collaborate with vendors, the hardware team, and other stakeholders to define requirements for the next UX platform.
- Bring up Android on new hardware.
- Provide technical support to other teams working on Android devices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- Experience working with low-level Android/AOSP, including building Android platform features and frameworks rather than only developing applications.
- Experience with Git, Repo, and Gerrit.
