Base Salary
$200k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery, architectural design, and adoption of Xometry’s embedded partner integration.
- Design extensible and scalable systems for native 3D geometry data flows and real-time AI insights.
- Develop and oversee Python backend services, APIs, and React/TypeScript embedded UIs on AWS.
- Collaborate with Data Science to deliver sub-second IQE performance within the partner application.
- Define AI fluency standards and coach Staff and Senior engineers on AI-assisted architecture, design, and development workflows.
- Lead cross-team technical decisions and execute multi-quarter roadmaps for enterprise integration capabilities.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for partner engineering teams and mentor engineers through complex design reviews.
- Own the reliability, security, monitoring, and alerting of integration microservices and enterprise PLM transaction workflows.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of professional software development experience with a record of leading complex, multi-quarter initiatives.
- Deep experience with Python, React, TypeScript, and AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Significant experience with system architecture, microservices design, and distributed systems handling high-volume enterprise data exchange.
- Experience introducing architectural patterns adopted across multiple teams and building enterprise-grade integrations beyond simple API wrappers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with enterprise CAD/PLM ecosystems such as Dassault/SolidWorks, Autodesk, or similar platforms.
- Preferred understanding of B-Rep, mesh formats, and 3D modeling workflows.
- Preferred experience in e-commerce, fintech, or B2B marketplaces and with dedicated-tenant or ring-fenced solutions for high-security enterprise clients.
