Base Salary
$230k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, validate, deploy, retrain, maintain, and monitor machine learning models and components for real-world risk management problems.
- Build and scale multi-tenant platforms for large-scale ML model training and serving.
- Develop application code, ML models, automated tests, deployment automation, and cloud-based architectures for production ML systems.
- Construct optimized data pipelines for training and evaluating ML models.
- Operate production ML services and use Kubernetes to manage large-scale containerized ML software systems.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, GRC, and cross-functional teams to deliver big data and ML applications.
- Apply model governance, secure code management, Responsible AI, and Explainable AI practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, machine learning, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of programming experience with Python, Java, Golang, or C++.
- At least 6 years of machine learning experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and Pandas, NumPy, or Scikit-learn.
- At least 6 years of experience operating large-scale distributed systems such as Spark or Ray for AI/ML data preparation.
- At least 4 years of experience deploying and operating production ML solutions and cloud production services using AWS, GCP, or Azure and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: master’s or doctoral degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: 5+ years optimizing ML algorithms, configurations, and infrastructure; applying software development best practices; and building resilient production software.
- Preferred: 5+ years working with ML techniques, model architectures, training concepts, evaluation, and production-ready ML data pipelines.
- Preferred: ML industry impact through conference presentations, papers, blog posts, open source contributions, or patents.
- Ability to communicate complex technical and machine learning concepts clearly to varied audiences.
