Responsibilities
- Build cloud-scale products with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and security.
- Build and maintain end-to-end build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Deploy and manage large Hadoop, Spark, and other clusters.
- Contribute to product architecture and design.
- Triage issues, restore service with minimal disruption, and perform root cause analysis, trend analysis, and post-mortems.
- Own components end to end from requirements gathering and development through testing, deployment, and post-deployment quality and availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline and 4+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in languages including C#, Java, React, or Python; preferred qualifications also include C, C++, and JavaScript.
- Mandatory experience in data integration, data migrations, ELT, or ETL tooling.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud background check.
- A master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is an additional preferred qualification.
