Responsibilities
- Design and build multi-agent workflows incorporating reasoning, reflection, planning, tool use, memory, and multimodal models.
- Develop evaluation systems, reward functions, evaluator models, and grader models for reinforcement fine-tuning and continuous improvement.
- Build retrieval-augmented generation pipelines using embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and context injection.
- Fine-tune and optimize large language and multimodal models using supervised, reinforcement, and instruction-tuning techniques.
- Create scalable, reliable, maintainable AI systems that integrate with large-scale engineering platforms.
- Partner with platform, application, and product engineers to turn experimental concepts into production solutions.
- Set technical direction, mentor peers, and make design trade-offs balancing innovation, performance, and reliability.
- Apply responsible and ethical AI principles to healthcare intelligence systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- At least five years of industry experience building and deploying scalable, production-ready machine learning systems.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Python.
- Experience designing scalable systems in Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud environments.
- Experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
- Experience with MCP and A2A interoperability protocols; deep MCP experience is preferred.
- Experience building vector database and embedding integrations using technologies such as FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma, or Azure AI Search.
- Hands-on experience fine-tuning and optimizing LLMs or multimodal models with LoRA, PEFT, or TRL.
- Experience with debugging, testing, feature flags, experimentation, version control, and collaborative development tools.
- Exposure to Python-based web services such as FastAPI and containerized application development with Docker or Kubernetes.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
