Base Salary
$113k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize perception algorithms for sensor fusion, object detection, tracking, and classification.
- Build perception software for autonomous and operator-assisted heavy equipment in dynamic off-road environments.
- Collect, analyze, and annotate customer and machine data for ML training and iterative model improvement.
- Integrate perception solutions into software stacks and hardware platforms.
- Create architecture specifications, software designs, verification plans, test cases, operating procedures, and safety procedures.
- Debug, test, maintain, and validate perception software and autonomous machine systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, research, and application teams to deliver safe, production-quality autonomy solutions.
Requirements
- Excellence in C++ and fluency in Python.
- Experience developing computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, sensor fusion, object detection, tracking, and classification algorithms.
- Strong software engineering, debugging, validation, and code quality practices.
- Experience developing perception systems for autonomous vehicles, robotics, or operator-assist systems using lidar, radar, and camera sensors.
- Experience with ROS/AIS, OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Git, CMake, Docker, and GoogleTest.
- Experience developing, integrating, or validating complex autonomous systems with a focus on machine safety and productivity.
- Experience working in Agile environments with Azure DevOps or Jira and AWS cloud technologies such as EC2, S3, and Batch.
