Base Salary
$106k - $223k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own complex AI initiatives end to end, partnering with applied science and engineering on architecture and integrated customer solutions.
- Drive roadmaps, schedules, staging and release plans, AI lifecycle governance, Responsible AI review, model-risk, privacy, compliance, and telemetry-based validation.
- Own the customer supportability experience and act as a trusted technical advocate for the right work.
- Design and ship an MCP-based agent platform integrated with enterprise data services and tools such as CLI, VS Code, and chat.
- Build production engineering rails including quality gates, evaluation regression testing, data-science telemetry, and supply-chain security.
- Develop language-model pipelines involving training, fine-tuning, RLHF, and automated model evaluation.
- Build quality-evaluation systems, intelligent case-routing services, and privacy-preserving data redaction tooling.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 5+ years of technical support, technical consulting, or IT experience, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: Microsoft Technology Certifications or industry IT certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA, or ISC2.
- Preferred: 3+ years developing and shipping production software services with TypeScript/Node.js, Python, or C#/.NET.
- Preferred: experience building AI applications with LLMs, AI agents, MCP tools, prompt engineering, or machine learning techniques.
- Preferred: experience with Azure cloud services, large-scale datasets, Azure Data Explorer/Kusto, and keyword, vector, or semantic search.
- Preferred: experience evaluating AI systems using model evaluation frameworks, labeled datasets, RLHF, preference-based training, or LLM-as-a-judge methods.
- Preferred: experience implementing automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, code scanning, dependency management, branch governance, privacy, compliance, PII detection, and data redaction.
- Preferred: experience building customer-facing, support, or enterprise operations applications.
