Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and support production-ready AI agents, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation solutions.
- Build LLM-powered solutions using orchestration frameworks, retrieval systems, APIs, business services, and enterprise data sources.
- Implement tool orchestration, workflow routing, human-in-the-loop controls, session management, safe fallbacks, and multi-step execution.
- Integrate enterprise applications, services, APIs, workflow platforms, and governed data sources.
- Optimize prompts, tool definitions, retrieval strategies, context management, and execution workflows.
- Contribute to RAG, knowledge grounding, search, vectorization, and information retrieval capabilities.
- Implement reliability, safety, monitoring, validation, guardrails, escalation, telemetry, logging, and observability controls.
- Develop automated testing, evaluation, and validation for releases, model updates, prompts, and workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, engineering standards, documentation, deployment procedures, runbooks, and operational support.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, platform, security, data, and quality engineering teams and contribute reusable components.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent education, training, and work-related training.
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
- Deep knowledge of multiple programming languages, software architecture, design principles, software development lifecycle, testing, deployment, and security practices.
- Strong expertise in Python and modern software engineering practices and frameworks.
- Experience building AI-enabled applications with LLMs, agent frameworks, orchestration tools, retrieval systems, or related applied AI technologies.
- Experience integrating APIs, enterprise services, workflow platforms, and governed data sources into production solutions.
- Experience with testing, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, operational support, and secure development practices.
- Experience building agentic systems with tool calling, orchestration, retrieval, memory, and multi-step workflows.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or comparable enterprise AI ecosystems.
- Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, enterprise search platforms, knowledge grounding, and AI system evaluation.
- Experience in regulated or governance-driven industries and supporting production AI systems through monitoring, telemetry analysis, incident response, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to independently deliver technical initiatives, communicate effectively across teams, contribute to standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor less experienced engineers.
