Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex software components and services.
- Implement advanced features and enhancements using coding standards, architectural patterns, and development best practices.
- Lead code reviews and provide feedback on code quality, maintainability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to plan and execute technical initiatives.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software defects and production issues.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support across the software development lifecycle.
- Apply secure coding, testing, and documentation practices.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field with five years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and training.
- In-depth knowledge of information systems and the ability to apply IT best practices.
- Preferred experience with Angular, .NET, APIs, C#, Entity Framework, MS SQL, and test-driven development for UI and backend systems.
- Preferred experience working in Agile development environments.
- A master’s degree or MBA, Six Sigma Green Belt or CQIA certification, and banking or financial services experience are preferred.
