Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Angular.
- Design and develop applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Create dynamic and responsive Angular front-end applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business subject matter experts to define requirements and deliver strategic data solutions.
- Execute the full software development lifecycle while applying security, privacy, and quality assurance practices.
- Participate in code reviews and integrate software components into fully functional systems.
- Advise IT management and technical staff on emerging technologies and associated services.
- Help define implementation and integration strategies for new technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Typically 5–9 years of experience developing front-end and back-end software.
- Proficiency in full-stack development, multiple programming languages, and frameworks.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Required experience developing AI assistants using tools such as Copilot, Claude, Codex, Devin, or Cursor.
- Experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
- Strong database experience, including data modeling, query optimization, and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.
- Understanding of secure coding practices, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.
- Experience working with APIs and preferably Linux scripting and Kafka messaging.
- Experience building a client-facing reporting application is a plus.
