Responsibilities
- Design and implement single-agent and multi-agent architectures.
- Build robust tool-using agents with function calling and tool authorization.
- Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and memory patterns.
- Develop workflow orchestration for agent execution.
- Productionize GenAI services including APIs and background jobs.
- Establish agent evaluation metrics and testing strategies.
- Build observability and safety features for AI systems.
- Collaborate with product, security, and platform teams.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture reviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience building LLM/GenAI systems in production.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js.
- Hands-on experience building advanced AI agents beyond simple chatbots.
- Solid understanding of prompting and context management.
- Experience with RAG techniques and vector databases.
- Proven ability to ship production services using Docker/Kubernetes.
- Strong data and security instincts regarding PII and secure access.
