Responsibilities
- Consolidate and refactor a payments system from legacy integrations.
- Build and maintain integrations across various financial platforms.
- Own the orchestration and tracking layer with third-party fintech partners.
- Design payment systems with a focus on correctness.
- Engage directly with customers to identify failure modes and edge cases.
- Collaborate with product teams to build, ship, measure, and iterate.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing payments.
Requirements
- Senior engineer with a strong background in payments and payment systems.
- High attention to detail and a strong finance background is a plus.
- Excited to work closely with customers and on a small team.
- Comfortable navigating the regulatory landscape of payments.
- Proficient in using AI tools and independent problem-solving.
