Responsibilities
- Lead and direct cross-functional engineering teams during a program’s Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase.
- Develop and execute project budgets and schedules, including EVMS, critical path management, Estimates-at-Completion, and workload forecasts.
- Lead staffing efforts and coordinate bench-time priorities across engineering initiatives.
- Manage Jira boards, track progress and issues, and resolve blockers affecting team performance.
- Maintain and communicate delivery schedules.
- Support proposal development and new program acquisition efforts.
- Interpret assigned statements of work and coordinate requirements with suppliers.
- Brief internal and external customer leadership on work progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 12 years of related experience, or a master’s degree with 10 years, or a Ph.D. with 8 years.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Control Account Manager managing EVMS projects.
- At least 8 years of experience with real-time embedded software.
- At least 10 years of experience across the full software lifecycle, including specification, design, implementation, integration, debugging, and maintenance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance and Special Program Access; active Secret clearance is required to start.
- Preferred qualifications include EMD program experience, radar mode development knowledge, project scheduling expertise, Atlassian tool suite experience, and advanced Microsoft Excel macros, functions, and pivots.
