Responsibilities
- Develop, improve, and deliver software application and system features using C# and .NET.
- Create detailed plans for migrating legacy tools and systems to new or unified systems and languages.
- Design, implement, and maintain unit and system tests for integral code paths.
- Build, debug, troubleshoot, and enhance Windows-based applications and systems.
- Participate in design, estimation, planning, and software engineering discussions.
- Provide technical support for existing and new application features.
- Document processes, best practices, methodologies, and repeatable procedures.
- Communicate status, challenges, and concerns to team members, managers, product owners, and stakeholders.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
- Follow secure coding practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in system software development.
- Strong experience with C# programming and .NET for networking-domain applications.
- Good working knowledge of building, debugging, and troubleshooting in a Windows environment.
- Experience with Unisys ClearPath MCP/OS 2200 systems is an advantage.
- Understanding of software development methodologies and processes, including Agile, Scrum, Kanban, clean coding, TDD, and CI/CD.
- Experience with Jira.
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
