Responsibilities
- Act as the primary Fastly architect for assigned customers.
- Develop technical relationships to understand customer infrastructure and challenges.
- Implement Fastly products and document customer configurations.
- Recommend improvements to customer implementations of Fastly's technology.
- Identify opportunities to introduce new Fastly products.
- Collaborate internally to assist with customer strategies and support requests.
- Participate in customer meetings and provide account health updates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Web Development, or Technical Account Management.
- Hands-on experience with customer issues and requests.
- Understanding of networking concepts like BGP and internet routing.
- Familiarity with HTTP/s, TCP, TLS, DNS, and load balancing technologies.
- Experience with Linux and scripting languages such as Python and Ruby.
- Knowledge of cloud architectures and environments like AWS and Azure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings as needed.
