Responsibilities
- Create and evolve the QA strategy for the product area.
- Own quality and testing metrics and oversee QA activities for major product features.
- Coordinate testing efforts between QA members and cross-functional teams.
- Lead development and execution of test plans, test cases, and critical feature testing.
- Guide QA team members and cross-functional partners in software testing best practices.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to resolve complex defects.
- Improve QA processes and tools and ensure testing is completed on schedule and meets quality benchmarks.
- Lead coordinated product testing throughout the software development life cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Prior success in a software testing and/or test automation role.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of testing methodologies.
- Ability to lead complex testing efforts and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of industry trends in software testing.
- In-depth knowledge of QA processes, test automation, and software development methodologies.
- Strong demonstrable experience in QA engineering.
- Fluency in written and verbal English.
