Responsibilities
- Integrate computer vision, image processing, machine learning, and generative algorithms into production-quality photo and video editing software.
- Build frameworks and core software layers that power Photos experiences and support other Apple teams.
- Design software architecture and abstractions for coherent, high-quality editing experiences.
- Analyze and optimize software performance for large-scale deployment across iPhone devices.
- Collaborate with engineers and partner teams to ship client-facing applications and features.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience with object-oriented analysis and design.
- Experience with C, C++, Objective-C, or Swift.
- Experience with performance analysis and optimization techniques.
- Experience with image or video processing technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving development environment.
- Preferred: experience with image and video processing applications, Metal or other GPU programming frameworks, on-device or applied machine learning, visual media or photography, and client-facing applications.
