Responsibilities
- Build innovative strategic software projects, lighthouse applications, and technology proof-of-concepts.
- Develop full-stack applications using modern web technologies, APIs, cloud infrastructure, databases, and distributed systems.
- Design secure, scalable AI-native applications that combine traditional software components with agentic AI capabilities.
- Explore emerging technologies and evaluate how they can address complex business challenges.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, designers, stakeholders, and other SAP teams.
- Present technical ideas, participate in code reviews, and analyze and improve existing and new code.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in languages such as TypeScript, Go, or Rust, with strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and software design.
- Very good knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript, plus proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework such as React, Vue, or Svelte.
- Degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
- Practical experience designing secure, scalable AI-native applications and agentic AI solutions.
- Understanding of REST or GraphQL APIs, relational databases, microservice architectures, distributed systems, and cloud programming.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure such as SAP BTP or a hyperscaler.
- Knowledge of machine learning and setting up or maintaining pipelines is preferred.
- Experience with agile software development processes, regular code reviews, and development projects.
- Strong communication, teamwork, independent working, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English and German.
- First professional work experience in a similar software development role.
