Responsibilities
- Build lighthouse software and proof-of-concepts for strategic SAP technology projects.
- Design, implement, document, and improve secure, scalable AI-native applications and agentic AI capabilities.
- Develop full-stack web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Design and implement APIs, relational database solutions, microservice architectures, and distributed systems.
- Analyze and resolve issues in existing and new code while participating in code reviews and collaborative agile development.
- Explore emerging technologies and present technical approaches to stakeholders and team members.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as TypeScript, Go, or Rust, with strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and software design.
- Very good knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript and proficiency in at least one of React, Vue, or Svelte.
- Practical experience designing secure, scalable AI-native applications combining traditional software components with agentic AI capabilities.
- Understanding of cloud programming, APIs, REST, GraphQL, relational databases, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure such as SAP BTP or a hyperscaler.
- Knowledge of machine learning and machine-learning pipeline setup and maintenance is preferred.
- Knowledge of agile software development and code-review-driven development processes.
- First professional experience in a similar software development role.
- Fluent written and verbal English and German communication skills.
