Responsibilities
- Lead development and maintenance of applications using Java, Node.js, TypeScript, and React.js.
- Design and implement scalable, highly available distributed systems and high-performance applications.
- Design and deliver AWS cloud and serverless solutions.
- Create and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and management using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Apply Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
- Implement observability practices with New Relic for monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
- Design and implement secure, reliable, and compliant JDF credit solutions.
- Design and implement solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Promote engineering best practices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced English proficiency sufficient to lead meetings, negotiate, defend viewpoints, and conduct training.
- Strong proficiency in Java and experience or willingness to work with React.js and Node.js in a full-stack environment.
- Solid experience designing and building distributed systems and working with AWS cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with AWS serverless solutions.
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
- Strong knowledge of unit, integration, and end-to-end software testing.
- Experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic.
- Proven experience leading or contributing to complex software projects and mentoring team members.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
