Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases for various applications.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, cross-platform, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases and documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and validate testing requirements.
- Analyze complex issues and provide clear defect documentation.
- Lead bug triage activities and support issue resolution.
- Validate REST and SOAP APIs and verify backend data using SQL.
- Support release validation and post-release verification activities.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality concerns.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and share best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and testing principles.
- Hands-on experience with manual, exploratory, regression, and cross-platform testing.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs using tools like Postman.
- Strong knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools like Jira.
- Experience with SQL databases and writing queries for backend testing.
- Experience testing native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Ability to analyze logs and network traffic to investigate issues.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize testing efforts in a fast-paced environment.
- BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
