Responsibilities
- Design and optimize system infrastructure and data paths for high-performance networking and low-latency security applications.
- Implement and optimize NAT, DNS, DHCP, and policy enforcement networking protocols and services.
- Use AI coding assistants and LLMs to improve code performance and memory safety and streamline development through automated testing.
- Resolve complex system issues using Linux kernel, networking, and file-system expertise.
- Develop detailed technical specifications and conduct rigorous unit testing for system quality and reliability.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of systems engineering experience focused on infrastructure for high-performance, low-latency applications.
- Deep expertise in IPsec, BGP, OSPF, TCP, and UDP networking and transport-layer optimization.
- Advanced proficiency in Linux internals, systems programming with Python or Golang, and Linux kernel tools.
- Experience using AI tools for system debugging, kernel-level observability, and code performance optimization.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern software development lifecycles.
- Preferred experience with Software Defined Networking, AWS or Azure, and Docker or Kubernetes.
- Strong communication skills and experience aligning technical execution with cross-functional product roadmaps.
