Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Act as the final technical escalation point for complex production and system issues from L1 and L2 teams.
- Investigate anomalies, perform root-cause analysis, and develop and deploy fixes for production bugs.
- Own critical incidents, problem tickets, and major outages while delivering permanent resolutions and preventive solutions.
- Develop and maintain backend systems and support integrations involving APIs, microservices, and third-party SaaS platforms.
- Monitor platform performance and scalability and drive automation, performance tuning, and optimization initiatives.
- Support change management, release management, deployments, and reliable production releases.
- Review and approve solutions, fixes, and changes before production release.
- Collaborate with development, testing, infrastructure, vendor, product, design, and QA teams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, KEDB, SOPs, process improvements, SLAs, and quality KPIs.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to L1/L2 engineers and participate in client calls, audits, and governance reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS.
- Proficiency in backend development with Node.js, Python using Django or FastAPI, or Go.
- Strong knowledge of database management, server-side architecture, and API design.
- At least 3 years of experience with AWS EC2, CloudFront, Lambda, SQS, and S3.
- Experience analyzing and implementing bug fixes, debugging logs, and troubleshooting complex system issues.
- Understanding of application development lifecycle practices including unit testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Proven experience in a production support environment and strong understanding of ITIL incident, problem, and change processes.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, automation, and scalable reliable systems.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Preferred experience with frontend development using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular, plus HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
- Preferred experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
- Media management or digital media distribution operations experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, own critical issues, learn new technologies, and influence others through clear explanations.
- Experience working within an Agile environment is preferred.
