Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop, test, maintain, document, and debug features within existing software systems.
- Break features into tasks, participate in planning and code reviews, and contribute to architectural discussions and design documents.
- Implement scalable, performant, maintainable, and testable software solutions that meet specifications.
- Serve as an escalation point for technical problems and maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to align projects and software feature deliverables.
- Translate business and technical requirements into software designs, documentation, and high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, communicate blockers, provide peer feedback, and help onboard new team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one of Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of message-based distributed systems and scalable, resilient application design.
- Experience with software troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and work in rapidly changing environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, electrical/electronics engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred experience includes SpringBoot and Spring projects, relational and non-relational databases, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, SQS, SNS, Terraform, AWS/Azure/GCP, distributed systems, Redis, Elasticsearch, ECS Fargate, GitLab CI/CD, Datadog, and Amazon S3.
Benefits
- The Glendale, California hiring range is $117,500 to $157,500 per year in base pay.
- Bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided in addition to medical, financial, and other benefits.
- This is a full-time position based in Glendale, California.
