Responsibilities
- Support cloud infrastructure and system administration.
- Support system operations and maintenance.
- Monitor system and server health and develop solutions for identified issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Assist with security scans and security accreditation activities.
- Manage system accounts, certificates, system credentials, and expiration dates.
- Maintain updated repositories across multiple fabrics.
- Manage backup and restore processes for core services.
- Deploy environments and tools supporting data science communities, standalone applications, and services.
- Collaborate with external end users and partner teams to improve platform access in controlled security environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with Linux, Bash, Python, scripting, and service management.
- Experience building and deploying applications in AWS, Azure, or Google Compute Environment.
- Experience with deployment automation and continuous integration tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and version control using Git or GitLab.
- Experience with code repositories and build or development pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, or Nexus.
- Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, or Marathon.
- Experience working with software development teams in source-controlled project environments.
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Desired qualifications include at least 10 years of DevOps or software engineering experience, SQL and relational database knowledge, AWS experience, distributed databases and streaming technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Yarn, Hive, and Trino, and data science tools such as Anaconda, Jupyter Notebook, or NiFi.
