Responsibilities
- Drive the technical direction and scalability of the Insights practice management platform.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions using ReactJS, Python, and PostgreSQL.
- Improve application reliability and observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Optimize web application performance, scalability, availability, and resilience.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, backend, product, and design teams.
- Lead high-impact projects, conduct code reviews, and drive architectural improvements.
- Mentor and guide engineers while promoting technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Build intuitive user experiences for healthcare providers and practice staff.
Requirements
- Require 5+ years of professional software development experience focused on scalable full-stack applications.
- Require proficiency in JavaScript, React or Vue, Python, and PostgreSQL.
- Require experience designing and maintaining scalable, reliable, and performant web applications.
- Require experience leading multi-month, high-impact projects and balancing technical trade-offs.
- Require strong front-end engineering knowledge, including React fundamentals, performance optimization, state management, and component-driven design.
- Require experience with complex backend systems, API design, database performance optimization, and observability practices.
- Require mentoring, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
- Prefer experience scaling high-traffic front-end applications and diagnosing React performance bottlenecks.
- Prefer product intuition, UX/UI influence, data visualization, interactive dashboards, and analytics-heavy application experience.
- Prefer familiarity with GraphQL, REST, gRPC, backend-for-frontend architectures, developer tooling, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Prefer open-source contributions or a strong engineering blog presence.
- Prefer experience in regulated industries with security and compliance considerations.
