Responsibilities
- Support the administration and ongoing development of the automated hosting environment for Projektron BCS.
- Maintain existing hosting virtual machines and instances.
- Communicate with the company’s data-center service provider.
- Help migrate the cloud environment to container technologies to improve resource utilization.
- Create and implement technical concepts for containerization and integration with existing administration structures.
- Contribute to securing and hardening web servers and operating systems as part of IT security.
- Administer web applications and Linux server systems.
Requirements
- Good or very good completion of an IT-related degree, completed IT vocational training, or comparable knowledge acquired through professional experience.
- Experience administering an automated hosting environment.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar container tools.
- Experience with the technical administration of web applications.
- Knowledge of Linux server administration.
- Knowledge of Nginx, Apache, HAProxy, Ansible, and Puppet.
- Very good German language skills at C1 level or higher.
